THE AESTHETICS GUIDE

Start simple.
Choose thoughtfully.

A few grounded starting points for caring for your skin, framing your features, and exploring professional options.

01 / Skin, simply.

A consistent routine is a better starting point than a crowded shelf. A gentle cleanser, moisturizer suited to your skin, and broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher form a useful foundation. Follow product directions and stop using a product if it causes irritation.

Introduce one new product at a time. A photo cannot tell us whether an ingredient will suit you or whether a spot is harmless. Persistent irritation, changing spots, pain, and other medical concerns belong with a licensed healthcare professional.

02 / Work with your features.

Brows, hairstyle, facial hair, and glasses can change how features are framed without a procedure. Try reversible changes first. Compare photos taken from the same distance, at eye level, in similar light.

Keep your preferences in the conversation. A proportion in one photo is not a defect or a reason to alter your face. Hair and grooming choices don’t require an “ideal” ratio.

03 / Make the consultation count.

If you’re curious about a procedure, ask a qualified professional about the goal you want to achieve. Ask about alternatives, including doing nothing, and discuss your medical history before choosing treatment.

  • What are your credentials and experience with this procedure?
  • What benefit is realistic for me, and what are the limits?
  • What are the risks, recovery time, and full costs?
  • Who handles complications and follow-up?
  • What lower-risk alternatives should I consider?

Injectables, lasers, peels, and surgery have different risks. A photo review cannot establish candidacy. Do not use this tool to choose an injection site, dosage, surgical plan, or prescription.
